About

Katy Gardner is a UK-based artist, specialising in Print and Painting.

Her practice explores dreams, nocturnal and natural imagery. It considers how the use of darkness can present a transient state where imagined forms can intermingle with familiar surroundings to briefly create a new, otherworldly space. Most recently, this involves combining experimental prints and painted imagery to create new abstracted landscapes fuelled by an overlapping of subconscious and conscious knowledge.

2020 BA(Hons) Fine Art Graduate from UAL Central Saint Martins, London.
